Jeff and Eli enjoyed some daddy/son time Saturday morning. They went to the free kids clinic at Lowe's. They made a wooden GMC truck. Eli received his very own work apron and safety goggles. He also got a truck patch. Eli is so proud of his little truck.

Saturday evening we went to Dawn and Eddie's for supper. We roasted hotdogs, ate watermelon and made smores. Lorri and Draft were there with their three kids also. All of the kids had a blast.

Yesterday after worship service at Beulah we met with the pastor and his wife. We told them we are ready to join the church. So next Sunday we will step forward with our boys and transfer our church membership.

Jeff will be going to Promise Keepers with a group from church. PK will be at the Colonial Center on August 3-4, 2007.

Recently the boys got into their Easter baskets and discovered leftover candy. Then they decided it would be a great idea to throw the grass from their baskets all over the kitchen floor. I decided the quickest way to clean up the grass would be to suck it up with the vacuum. This seemed like a great idea...at first. The vacuum bag filled up quickly so I pulled out what I could to avoid a problem and then went back to sucking up grass. Did you know that Easter grass will clog your vacuum hose? So then the vacuum doesn't suck. So being the educated, problem solving people we are, we decided a metal coat hanger would relieve said clog. This was not a good idea. The end of the hanger, which Jeff had made a hook on, got caught. To make a long story short, we ended up with the hanger poking through the vacuum's hose. So after a call to Sears and $140+ later, we'll be receiving a new hose for our vacuum.

Only 26 days until our vacation!
