some of you may have gotten tired of hearing about mission trip this and mission trip that, leading up to becky going on her trip. sorry if this is the case, but it is a big deal. she is doing something that is life changing. the team she went with is a great team and this is important. i have an example: twenty years ago i went on a mission trip to west virginia with my youth group. the cook on the trip was bobby riley who is now married to becky's granddad and now my boys' nana, scott lewter was on the trip with me and now his wife is in africa with my becky, oh wait there's more, terry weeks and maybe his brother benji were on the trip and now thier dad and my mom are dating. boyfriend and girlfriend can you believe any of this. God is Real! God is Awesome! you have to treat folks with respect and like the way you want to be treated because 20 years later you never now how things will end up.
going back even further: thirty years ago a team from a church in columbia went to chesnee, sc and moved my family down here. my dad had been called to be the minister of music and youth. one person on this team was olin poe. last week we had a pancake fundraiser for becky's trip. the cook that night was you guessed it olin poe. have a great day everybody.
